The Mirage F1 is a French single-seat, single-engine third-generation jet fighter.
Developed as a successor to the famous delta-winged Mirage III family, the F1 uniquely broke away from the standard delta design by adopting a conventional high-mounted swept wing and a traditional tailplane. Over 720 aircraft were built, serving prominently in both interceptor and ground-attack roles.
