Only months before the war in Ukraine broke out, we were able to photograph the Sukhoi Su-34 Fullback in Russia. While working on the book, the war was in its first year and in full swing. During this period, over 20 of the type were shot down. The Sukhoi Su-34 Fullback is a very large attack aircraft which can trace its lineage back to the Su-27 Flanker, although it are only the wings and tailplanes which are similar. This is the only book we know of that bring such a close-up of this huge jet. All around the fuselage, inside the cockpit, underneath the jet, the landing gear, the wings: everything is included.
