The RAIDS (Rangeless Airborne Instrumented Debriefing System) pod is carried by RAF aircraft for training purposes. It is much like the ACMI pod carried by US aircraft. This particular pod is carried by the Typhoon to simulate the ASRAAM. It can be identified from the standard RAIDS pod by the weights that have been secured around the body of the pod.
This resin piece is for any 1/48 scale Typhoon kit.
