TRP02232 1:32 Trumpeter F-100 F-100D Super Sabre #2232

The first F-100 was delivered to the USAF in 1953, becoming the first fighter to break the sound barrier with a world record of 755 mph. Having been delivered near the end of the Korean War, the F-100 was used extensively in Vietnam. The "D" version of this fighter featured many additional components including flapped wings, internal electronic counter measure equipment and a low altitude bombing system. The F-100D flew with a single crew member and carried numerous bombs, rockets and missiles.

• Kit consists of 684 parts on 25 sprues, plus photo etch, a film instrument panel, metal landing gear.
• Markings included for the USAF 511th Fighter Bomber squadron, 405th Bomber Wing at Langley AFB, VA, May 1959.
• Completed kit measures over 20" long with a wingspan of nearly 15"!
