This variant of the P-47D featured the added dorsal fin, an extension in the form of a narrow triangle running from the vertical tail to the radio aerial on the top of the fuselage, allowing for better stability. Kit consists of 432 parts on 18 sprues, photo etched seat belt, film instrument panel and markings for 362nd FG, 379th FS, Germany 1945 & 368th FG, 397th FS, "Jabo Angels". Additional features: Clear nose cowling to view detailed R-2800 engine, cooling flaps can be positioned open or closed, full interior detail including turbocharger and intercooler, 50 cal machine guns, rubber ammo belts, positionable flaps, multiple propellers (all used on various versions of the P-47), drop tanks and bombs. Completed kit measures nearly 14" long with a wingspan of over 15".
