TRP04524 1:350 Trumpeter USS Cole DDG-67 Arleigh Burke Class Missile Destroyer #4524

The second USS Cole (DDG-67) is an Arleigh Burke-class Aegis-equipped guided missile destroyer. It gained worldwide notoriety when it was damaged and 17 of its sailors killed by a suicide attack in the Yemeni port of Aden on Oct 12, 2000. After undergoing complete repairs, the Cole was sent back to the Middle East in June, 2006. Kit consists of 481 parts on 11 sprues plus hull, waterline plate, main deck and photo etched handrails. Additional features: very detailed bridge section, 5"/54 variant gun turrets, display stand and name plate. Completed kit measures over 17" long.
