The ERA tile system covers 49 percent of the vehicle front and 85 percent of its sides. It is also provided with a spall liner in the fighting compartment, and the fuel tanks are given better protection against large caliber
machine gun fire. This upgrading increases the level of BMP-3 protection by 90 percent compared with the standard issue BMP-3.

Kit consists of 828 parts on 14 sprues plus upper hull, lower hull and tracks. Includes photo-etched grill cover, armor brackets and markings for the Russian Army.
