This is the Australian variant of the LAV personnel carrier. It is a highly mobile, eight wheeled amphibious armored vehicle used for reconnaissance and surveillance operations. The ASLAV has an eight wheeled configuration, is amphibious and has a range of 600 km with a top road speed of 100 km/h. It has excellent battlefield mobility, as all wheels are equipped with a solid-core secondary tire next to the hub, allowing the vehicle to function even with eight flat tires.

Kit consists of 332 parts on 8 sprues with markings for 2nd Cavalry Regiment, Australian Army. Includes an M242 35mm gun.
