TRP01648 1:72 Trumpeter F-100C Super Sabre Fighter #1648

The F100-C served in the USAF from 1954 until 1971. It was originally designed as a higher performance follow-up to the F-86 Sabre. Adapted as a fighter bomber, the F100 would be supplanted by the F-105 Thunderchief for strike missions over Vietnam. It also flew extensively over South Vietnam as the Air Force's primary air support fighter. The "C" variant featured new J57-P21 engines enabling faster speeds for more efficient bombing runs.
