  • Kit consists of 462 parts on 17 sprues plus photo etch, film and metal parts.
  • Completed kit measures nearly 14" long with a wingspan of over 15".
  • Markings are for "LM-C" Frederick Christensen, England 1944, "Wee Speck" of 354th FG of the 9th AF, Capt. Lowell Brueland.
The P-47D variant had some changes from the C variant. Added was a turbo-supercharger exhaust system which incorporated an adjustable duct and also added were redesigned vents for the engine accessory section. Additional cowl flaps were fitted to provide engine cooling airflow, and more extensive armor protection was provided for the pilot.
