This variant was a complete Bf-109 makeover, including a redesign of the wings, the cooling system, fuselage aerodynamics and a new engine. The F series abandoned the wing cannon and placed all armament in the forward fuselage: a pair of machine guns above and a single 15 or 20mm cannon behind the engine.

Kit consists of 242 parts on 10 sprues plus 3 rubber tires, photo-etched upgrade details, positionable flaps, detailed cockpit and engine detail. Three different 1942 markings included. Completed kit measures over 11? long with a wingspan of over 12?.
