Kit consists of 390 parts on 17 sprues plus photo etch radar mast. Markings are for scheme 619 & 684. Completed kit measures over 18"L. Launched in 1985, the Severomorsk was a Udaloy II class destroyer. As Russia's only multipurpose destroyer, it was intended to be the Russian counterpart to American Arleigh Burke class ships. The Udaloy-II was modified by the replacement of the SS-N-14 by the SS-N-22, reflecting a change in emphasis from anti-submarine warfare to anti-shipping.
